Teenagers & Young Adults

I am experienced at working with young adults between the ages of 14 and 19.  

It's a pretty tricky time to be a young person. Social media combined with school, family and friendship pressures can contribute to feelings of isolation and overwhelm. Without help, young people may turn feelings of anger or confusion in on themselves and self harm, restrict food or act out and hurt those who care about them the most. 

Unfortunately most secondary schools do not have the budget to give young people the emotional space and education they need to build resilience, manage stress and help them learn to regulate their emotional highs and lows. 

I provide a supportive, safe place for young people to offload and understand the feelings that come hand in hand with being a teenager.

I aim to give young people the confidence to be who they are and to make sense of their feelings, thoughts and worries. With this stronger sense of sense comes the ability to say yes to more of the things that support them and no to the things that undermine them.
