About Me

I am a qualified humanistic psychotherapist and counsellor. I am also registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have completed a 6 year training in Humanistic Psychotherapy at Spectrum Centre for Humanistic Psychotherapy, and continue my ongoing supervision and professional development there.

I have also completed a 12 month specialist training programme with Beyond Chocolate which provides women with practical steps and support to create a happier and more satisfying relationship with food, eating and body esteem.

I’ve spent over two decades working as a women’s health writer and editor working in Australia, New York and the UK.

I am bound by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, the Ethical Guidelines for Researching Counselling and Psychotherapy (where practitioners undertake research) and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force
