At some point in our lives, we all face challenges. At moments like this, therapy can give us the time and space to reflect on what works for us and gain clarity about how we might respond.  

Helping You In The Here And Now

I focus on helping you build awareness about why you feel the way you do. Your history will come up (it’s therapy after all), but I will help you explore it in the spirit of curiosity and compassion (rather than blame and self-hatred). Our history influences who we are and holds many clues about why we are responding to events or difficulties in the way we do. But, our past does not have to determine our future. Therapy can give us a greater awareness of our emotions and our behaviours.

My Approach

I will listen, ask questions and give honest and direct feedback. I aim to be warm yet challenging. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all undertaking, so I always tailor the work to respond to your needs and check frequently to ensure you are getting what you came for.

Lasting Change

My goal is to leave you with strategies, communication skills and a toolbox that can be transferred from the therapy room to your wider life.
