About Me

I am a qualified, BACP-accredited humanistic counsellor and psychotherapist and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred).

I am a founding member of Homa Psychotherapy Practice in Clerkenwell, WC1X 9AW and a former Foundation Course Tutor with Homa Psychotherapy Training.

I completed an intensive, face-to-face, seven-year training in Humanistic Psychotherapy at Spectrum Centre for Humanistic Psychotherapy, where I continue my ongoing supervision and professional development. I have also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 1) and in the process of completing Re-Vision’s Supervision with Soul diploma. In addition, I have specialist training in couples therapy, including Relational Life Therapy with Terry Real, Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFSIO), and PAIRS.

Before training as a therapist, I spent over two decades working as a journalist and editor in Australia, New York, and the UK. That experience taught me a deep respect for people’s stories, an ability to listen closely, and an appreciation for the many ways we make meaning in our lives.

I am bound by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, the Ethical Guidelines for Researching Counselling and Psychotherapy (where practitioners undertake research), and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure currently in force.
