Couples Therapy

We all have an innate need to connect, bond, and feel secure in our closest relationships. Yet, most of us were never taught how to recognise our emotional needs - much less how to express them to a partner. When conflicts arise, this lack of understanding can leave us feeling lost and without the tools or language to navigate challenges constructively. In frustration, we may even fall into harmful patterns - blaming, criticising, or withdrawing - which only push us further apart.

The good news? You can learn to communicate openly, listen with empathy, and confidently express your needs and boundaries.

I take a direct, action-oriented approach - incorporating tailored exercises and practical tools to strengthen your connection. I will hold you both with compassion and fairness, while gently challenging behaviours that may be holding you back from creating the relationship you truly want.

As a couples therapist I am engaged in continuous professional development. This means that alongside my training in psychotherapy at Spectrum, my partner and I completed an intensive year-long PAIRS relationship program, followed by a 12-month Couples Training Program with renowned psychotherapists Terry Cooper and Jenner Roth at Spectrum Therapy. I’ve also undertaken additional training in Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples.

I’m currently advancing my skills in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and its application to relationships through Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) - a leading model for IFS-guided couples therapy.

I welcome couples who identify as LGBTQIA+ and am a kink-aware therapist.
